Anthony Russell will join BIC as the Musician-in-Residence. His scholarship includes Yiddish music and Ashkenazic melodies, niggunim, and the crossover with African American musical tradition. Mr. Russell with co-lead Friday night Kabbalat Shabbat Services. On Saturday morning he will give d'varim, lead some prayers, and after services, give an adult education class.
