Join us for our annual Purim party and Megillah reading! We'll have a mini megillah this year for kids as well as a traditional megillah reading with schpiel! 

Bring the kids at 4:30 for games, snacks, and fun! Morah Carol's Annual Purim Play will start at 5:20. The mini megillah for the littles will begin at 6 at the same time as the first three chapters of the traditional megillah. Traditional megillah reading with schpiel will start at 6:30.

The Social Action Committee will also be collecting “Matanot L’Evyonim” - gifts to people in need. There will be a donation table in the Beth Israel foyer that evening where you can donate cash or checks, as well as an opportunity to donate using a QR code. You can also donate online by clicking here. This year, the Social Action Committee has selected two organizations to receive the donations:

• JFS (Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County) which serves people of all religions
• JCOR (Jewish Congregations Organized for Resettlement)

There will also be donation boxes in which we will be collecting food for Food Gatherers, a local food bank and food rescue program serving Washtenaw county. You can contribute canned or packaged nonperishable food of any kind. (NO glass bottles, please). Mac and cheese, canned tuna, cereal, crackers, juice boxes, granola, etc are all welcome.
