Each year we publish a Yizkor memorial booklet which lists the names of the loved ones whose memories we wish to bring with us before God. As the Yizkor prayer says:

May God remember the soul of my loved one who has gone to the next world, as I donate tzedakah for their sake. May their soul be bound up in the bond of life along with the soul of our righteous ancestors and of all other righteous men and women who in the Eternal's embrace. Amen.

It is customary, not mandatory, to make that act of tzedakah a donation to the synagogue in memory of your loved one. No names that are currently in the Yizkor book will be removed if you chose to express your tzedakah differently.

If you have names you would like included, please list them below. If you would like to make a donation, a suggested amount is $18/listing. All donations will help support the vital services and programs of Beth Israel.
