Purim at Beth Israel 2023
Mac & Cheese Groggers and Matanot L'evyonim
The BIC Social Action Committee is collecting matanot l’evyonim, gifts for the poor, traditionally given during the holiday of Purim. This year the funds that are collected from BIC members will be donated to two local organizations, IHN (Alpha House) and the Shelter Association of Washtenaw County. You can bring your check with you to the Megillah reading on Monday, March 6, or you can click here to make your contribution online.
We also invite you to bring boxes of mac & cheese to use as groggers during the Megillah reading. After the reading you can leave them in the box in the foyer and they will be donated to Food Gatherers.
